This is our second visit to this site, our first in August 2010 just after the winter floods. Phew is it very hot, amazing for this time of the year, what a bonus.
Taking advantage of what is reported to be a great weekend, we are taking the bicycles. Yippee.
After a relaxed breakfast we secure the bikes to the back of the van before setting off. Since we are not supposed to arrive at the site until after 12’0clock, we take it steady up the M5 to St Michaels Wood Service station for 11’ s.
The rest of the journey to Tewkesbury Abbey site was straight forward and without incident.
